Supports 4K Signal Input

The PT-RZ120/L supports uncompressed 4K video-signal input via HDMI® or DIGITAL LINK terminals. The ability to play Ultra HD video at the projector’s supported native resolution is useful in situations where the same premium video content is intended for playback on multiple 4K and non-4K projectors or displays. It saves operators the hassle of re-encoding source video and allows the PT-RZ120/L to be added to a projector network that includes 4K units, streamlining simultaneous playback of a single 4K video source on all compatible display devices.

Original Panasonic Technology Reduces Motion Blur

Together with a unique high-speed Real Motion Processer chip, Panasonic has refined the PT-RZ12K Series’ optical engine to enhance focus performance for a better sense of resolution, contrast, and fluidity. Real Motion Processor creates supplemental frames and interpolates for a fast 120 Hz* frame-rate, resulting in incredibly smooth and realistic reproduction of motion. Further, images of up to 120 Hz* can be displayed with Dual-link 3G-SDI, DVI-D, and HDMI simultaneous inputs.

Flexible Setup and Smooth Operation

Unlike conventional lamp-based projectors, the
PT-RZ12K Series’ SOLID SHINE Laser system allows free 360-degree installation through any axis. Together with powered lens shift and a wide range of optional lenses, the projector can be mounted in any way desired without picture distortion.

High brightness, picture quality and reliability – in a compact body

Dual-lamp system, with its new lamp, helps to make this body compact while providing a full 12,000lm of brightness, with 220-240V AC operation. When in ‘Lamp Relay’ mode, the system also eliminates any interruptions if a lamp should fail and enables 24/7 projection.

The projector’s Dynamic Iris feature uses a scene-linking aperture mechanism to achieve a remarkable 10,000:1 contrast without lowering its high brightness. This helps to reproduce deeper, richer blacks, and provides images with more detailed textures.

An integrated Eco Filter combines with the dust-resistant cabinet to allow long-term use in harsh conditions, while a maintenance cycle of up to 12,000 hours reduces the time and cost of repair.

The wide adjustment range of the powered horizontal/vertical lens shift function can be easily adjusted with the remote control. The unit can also be rotated 360° vertically, to accommodate various installation conditions. The lens-centred design contributes to easy installation.
